The kids and apples...
Tonight I let each of the kids bring an apple in the car to eat. Once we arrived at our destination I asked for the apple cores…. this is what each of them gave me. Ughh, kids? You didn't need to eat the WHOLE apple. Clearly we need to review how to eat apples with them.
Making Cupcakes
Soren was so excited to make cupcakes that he wanted to move his chair in from of the oven to watch them bake….
Kaia and her accessories….
Kaia LOVES accessories and shoes. Anyone who knows her knows that we have trouble ahead….. the more sparkle the better. Kaia went shopping with me and picked out a new pair of glasses and a necklace. Here she is on the ride home from the mall.
Yes, Soren is organized. I've known this, but looking at this is was surprised. He found all of the same ones in the bin, and lined them up with perfect spacing on his blocks….
If he stays with this, I'm thinking that getting him to clean his room in the teenage years won't be a problem. I wonder who he's getting this from?

Go Badgers!
While we were in Madison we were lucky enough to go to a Badgers game with Luke, Andrea, and JD. We had a blast! We can't thank them enough for such a fun afternoon. Here's a few pics:

Maple Grove Triathlon
Our last triathlon before IMOO was in Maple Grove last weekend. This time there was a change! Marty was volunteering and I was racing! I didn't break any records, but I had a blast! It was a great race and I hope to back at it again next year. Here's a couple pictures form the day (I took them since Marty's not much for photos).
