Coloring Easter Eggs

Escape to Florida

I went to Naples, FL to visit my Dad for a few days. Marty and Kids held the fort down at home.

So much for escaping the weather--
Yes, this is the ocean. It's not in a bay- I've never seen it this calm. The next day a manatee showed up about 10 ft from shore in this same spot.

Two bald eagles came over to the pool for a visit.

A few pictures I took while I was there...

Our new Trampoline

We're probably not adding to the beauty of the neighborhood, but the kids are super happy. We decided to try a "my 1st trampoline" on our deck. The kids have used big trampolines before so I was worried that they wouldn't enjoy the small one (it's 7ft across and lower to the ground). It turns out that the small one bounces much better for their size and they enjoy this one MUCH, MUCH more. Every weekend we have been awoken by 4 blue eyes around 6-7AM asking if they can go jump on the trampoline.
It's been awesome-- They really love it.

G'Nastics

Kaia is super excited to be in her own sport-- Gymnastics or as Kaia calls it G'nastics.

Kaia on the long trampoline

It was a beautiful day so we decided to end the day at McDonalds before we went home and headed for bed.

Soren's Hockey Video

I created a video of that shows photos and videos from Soren's hockey season. It's 10 minutes long and can be found by clicking here.

Last Day of Hockey!

Soren's last day of Hockey and we needed to put jackets on to go inside the rink. It was beautiful weather outside, so it seemed strange to be heading in to the ice.
All smiles after his last practice. He really loved his season.
The smile says it all. He went on to sleep with his trophy that night.

Is it Really March?
