Soren is head over heels in love with skiing. He had outgrown his old skis (they were his first set from when he started skiing at 2). We got him new skis so Marty took him out to give them a test drive.

Notice the black diamond sign? He's really proud of that.

NHL GameCenter Night

Since we don't have cable we decided to get Soren NHL GameCenter so he could watch hockey on TV. He is thrilled. Here's the group cuddled up watching hockey drinking some smoothies.

Rock Climbing

It was a cold Sunday and we were anxious to get out of the house. We headed over to REI to do a little shopping and let Soren do some rock climbing. He got a little nervous and didn't make it to the top, but it determined to go back and make it next time.

Blender time!

We got a powerful new blender and have been enjoying all sorts of new recipes. Below is a smoothie with lots of spinach in it-- and the kids love it!! Some of our other favorites are oatmeal cranberry pancakes, tomato soup, fruit sorbet, fresh applesauce and spaghetti sauce with lots of veggies (and the kids have no idea they are in there).

Scoops Kids Spa

For Kaia's birthday I bought her a kids package at the kid's spa at our hotel. She was totally into in, watching her was even more fun than going to the spa myself. She really digs getting pampered :)

They even included ice cream at the end!

Wisconsin Dells Day 1

Kaia picked a night at the waterpark with the family over a kid birthday party this year so we went to the Great Wolf for a night before Marty's family got together.
