Soren needed a haircut and lately it seems like it's been harder and harder to find a time to go-- so we decided to do it. Cut it short. I was VERY scared at the beginning but it's cute on him. I can't believe he's going to be 5 in a few very short months.
School Update:
We're still on the fence with Kindergarten and have left our options open, but we're getting very close to a decision. We think we're going to hold him back. We decided there's nothing to be gained by rushing him into school. Our ECFE offers a Fun with Fives preschool program designed for kids who don't go to school and he's been accepted into that. With this program he'd do 4 1/2 days a week of preschool and the other 1/2 days and Friday he'd be in an after school program they offer. He may be ready for school to do great in kindergarten as well, but it never hurts to be the most mature of your friends especially when you're a teenager. Marty also notes that in sports it never hurts to be a little bigger (if he plays sports).
So that's where we're leaning today…..
